Born and raised in Kyiv, Iryna had never intended to leave the city of her heart before the war. At VATAHA, she leads embroidery workshops, sharing her passion for needlework, which she cherishes in all its forms. A mother of two, Iryna finds joy in seeing her children embrace creativity and hopes to pass on Ukraine’s embroidery traditions to them. With a background in finance, she retrained as a graphic and UX/UI designer and looks forward to gaining more experience in these fields. An enthusiastic traveler, Iryna dreams of visiting Antarctica, the Ukrainian Antarctic Akademik Vernadsky station, and seeing whales.
